it's awesome to have a show that is so profoundly excellent (both historical and musical) that Charlie Miller, MOTB and others have done their best to preserve with absolute integrity the music within. of course, the soundboard is clear as day...no hiccups beyond the digi-noise or whatever small semblance you can hear with the same ears as mine. Although, I'm leaving my review under this version here because I feel it demands the most attention to the casual observe (myself once again considered). Audience recordings get their time in the sun, from purists and eccentrics (ugh, okay me again). But, they should be more readily apparent in people's minds...for the first thing, they can be downloaded from the Archive, the soundboards can't. If you can find your way onto a file-sharing site, then you just have to sit and wait for a few minutes until you connect files with a peer, not that hard. But then you have the concern of flac files which both audience and soundboards find themselves in...audience recordings are nicely processed into mp3s because it seems no one really cares to preserve the audio integrity any further. you're already listening to a LO-FI recording, in my opinion, the degradation that comes with compression sounds like par for the course. Plus, I'm not a purist (anymore) - it's not vinyl after all...who really cares? So...with all that being said, I have done my best to reconstruct the flac files in Audacity so I can have them as a single stream (hate when my phone turns off when I'm on the Archive, and I lose the jamming...). Hopefully, this way, it can be more presentable and less like I'm just listening to a blank wall of a soundboard...let's hear it again for the MOTB crew putting this together. It sounds warm, fresh like daisies...from Egypt with Love! * Nick 1/26/23

A fun listen--the Hamza jams, the drums with Lee Oskar on eerie harmonica (although he sounds overwhelmed against the full band in space), the Mojo, the awesome Stella Blue, and a mellow, grooving Sugar Magnolia. If you want a lesson in Bobby guitar, he's heavy in this mix, set 1 especially. Thank you tapers and MOTB!

Wow,what a different but excellent Sugaree. He's gone and Stella Blue are super. Don't think I ever saw a bad show in that broken down palace. So many good times! Thanks for posting!!
